Q: What time is the swim pond open to the public?
A: The swim pond is open to the public seven days a week from 10am to dusk, unless there is inclement weather or maintenance needs.
Q: How much is a day pass?
A: Day passes are $10 per person for ages 2 and up (under 2 are free).
Q: Do you need to call in advance or make reservations to come for the day?
A: Nope! No need to make a reservation for day pass use! Just come on in and stop in the camp store to purchase your day pass wristbands!
Q: What does my day pass give me access to?
A: Your day pass includes access to the swim pond/beach, pool, playground, jumping pillow and inflatables. We do our best to open other areas during the week when staffing is available.
Q: What are the details of the Monday Family Special?
A: On Monday’s, bring the whole family for just $20 per family! Enjoy all the other amenities included in the day pass, PLUS, our Club Center is open from 2-6pm for fun ice cream treats, slushies, loaded teas, cotton candy, candy and more! We also have an ice cream social from 2-3pm where you can get all the softserve ice cream with toppings you can eat for just $4!
Q: Are there lifeguards on duty?
A: No, both our swim pond and our pool do not have a lifeguard on duty, so they are cautioned as ‘swim at your own risk’ bodies of water.
Q: Are life jackets required? Do we have to bring our own?
A: Because there are no lifeguards on duty at the swim pond, nor the pool, we do highly recommend life jackets, especially in the swim pond. However, life jackets are only required (for all ages) when using the inflatables in the swim pond. We do have a limited supply to use for free, but bringing your own is encouraged if you are able.
Q: Are floaties/tubes allowed on the pond?
A: Yes they are. We also have sun chill floats and paddleboards available to rent.
Q: Are there lounge chairs or shade umbrellas on the beach?
A: There are no chairs or umbrellas provided, but you are welcome to bring your own chairs, shade umbrellas and shade tents. Please use caution when digging your umbrella into the sand, if you see the black liner, please STOP digging.
Q: How deep is the swim pond?
A: The pond gradually gets deeper and is about 12 feet deep at the center.
Q: Is smoking allowed by the pond?
A: Smoking on the beach is prohibited. You must step off the sand to smoke and cigarette butts must be disposed of properly, not in the sand! Please be courteous to non-smokers and the children who love to dig and play in the sand. They don’t want to dig up your used cigarette butts!
Q: Are food and drinks available?
A: Yes, we have a small snack shack area right next to the pond with drinks and snacks, but also sand toys, floaties, and more! We also have a full-menu Bar & Grill that is open at 10am during the week, and 8am on the weekends (breakfast is served on Saturday and Sunday!).
